Jeff Reid, Instructor

Jeff Reid is an Adjunct Professor of strategy at the McDonough School of Business and the founding director of the the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative. A proven strategic leader in the arenas of entrepreneurship, venture capital, education, technology, and economic development, Reid believes strongly in the power of entrepreneurial communities and networks to create social value.

Donna Harris is a four-time entrepreneur, cofounder of 1776 and frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, startup community building, and economic development. She is also an active angel investor as a cofounder of K Street Capital.  Prior to 1776, Donna served as the Managing Director at the Startup America Partnership, where she focused on accelerating the formation of vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystems across the United States and connecting the communities into a national startup ecosystem.

Evan Burfield is the cofounder and co-CEO of 1776, where he works with startups around the world tackling important challenges in areas like education, health, energy, transportation, and cities. He is a frequent speaker and contributor to publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and Huffington Post. He is also an active angel investor as a cofounder of K Street Capital.

Jasmine Zhu was a founding member of UBECI North America, a humanitarian foundation supporting at risk children in Ecuador. She currently consults with startups, and has had experience working with VCs and angel investors. She specializes in business development, operations, and internal performance improvement. Jasmine is currently the VP of Recruiting for the InSITE Fellowship in Washington, DC.
